CHARLES BOUGIE
Prior to starting Kluane Partners in 2014, Mr. Bougie served as Senior Principal at Alberta Teachers Retirement Fund co-managing a multibillion portfolio of private equity and infrastructure investments, and was also a Director at BMO Capital Partners providing complex structured finance solutions to Canadian private companies. Mr. Bougie made a career of investing institutional capital in a variety of industries across Canada, the United States and Europe. Charles originated, structured and closed over 40 transactions ranging from private equity leverage buyouts, management buyouts, venture capital, growth capital financings, mezzanine to a variety of debt financings. Mr. Bougie was also an early investor and played an instrumental role at a successful start-up venture named Daiya (raising non-dilutive capital and leading operations) which was ultimately sold for over $US 400 million. Prior to his career in finance, Charles was a consultant at a Chicago based firm named USC Consulting Group which specializes in process improvement and operational excellence serving fortune 500 clients.
Charles holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Concordia University and a Masters in Business Administration from Ivey Business School. Charles is a member of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA), is the Executive Director and Treasurer of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Calgary Chapter, and is a former board member of the Alberta Bicycle Association.
On weekends Charles is known to be an outdoor enthusiast, typically spending his time skiing or competing at various cycling events.

CODY CHURCH
With a career spanning more than 25 years, Cody began his profession in 1993 as an Analyst for the Leveraged Finance Group of CS First Boston where he worked with financial buyers in areas of acquisition and divestiture, high-yield bonds, IPOs and re-financings. In 1995 Cody joined, New York-based private equity firm, EXOR America as an Associate. He was responsible for evaluating and analyzing market trends, currency forecasts and private equity investment opportunities. Having established a solid reputation for excellence in financing, structuring, and deal execution, Cody returned home to Calgary, Alberta and co-founded TriWest Capital Partners in 1997. As Senior Managing Director, he provided critical leadership for the overall development of the firm, served on over 20 portfolio company Boards and was instrumental in establishing the largest general buyout fund in Western Canada with five funds and over $1.25 billion in equity capital raised. Having assisted in growing TriWest into one of Canada’s leading private equity groups, Cody retired from the firm in 2018 to form Clear North Capital where he could directly focus his efforts on creating value through operational excellence for lower mid-market private Canadian companies.

ZDENEK HEZKY
Having spent more than 15 years on Wall Street, Zdenek has demonstrated his ability to successfully manage deal teams and execute various complex financings. His experience spans leveraged and management buyouts, leveraged recapitalizations, and other highly structured situations for companies across a variety of industry sectors in both the U.S. and Canada. Zdenek’s financial career began in investment banking at Salomon Brothers, where he worked as part of a highly seasoned nine-person International Debt Capital Markets team that secured and executed high-yield and investment-grade bond offerings, both structured and plain vanilla, for some of the world’s largest international companies and sovereign nation states. Later, Zdenek joined CIT Group as Director of Capital Markets, where he helped position the firm to win and execute lead-mandates in support of syndicated leveraged-loan financings and other highly structured financing solutions for largely middle-market clients and their financial sponsors. While with CIT, Zdenek completed over 20 lead-agented debt financings, raising over $3bn for his clients. Upon returning to Canada in 2017, and just prior to establishing Tahoe Green Capital Inc., Zdenek worked with National Bank Financial’s Corporate Bank as Vice President, Loan Structuring and Syndications in Calgary, Alberta.

RITESH JAIN MBE
Ritesh began his professional career in 1997 as an Officer, Trade Finance for Corporation Bank where he was responsible for managing Letter of Credit and remittances business. In 1999 Ritesh joined IDBI Bank as Treasury Manager and oversaw a book of Interbank cross currency foreign exchange. Ritesh then moved to the Fixed Income side and managed Rupee treasury government securities and corporate bonds. In 2002 Ritesh was recruited by Kotak Asset Management Company as Head of Fixed income. In this position he played a critical role for the Asset Under Management generating growth from USD 600 million to USD 3 billion in a highly volatile market. In 2008 Ritesh joined Canara Robeco (a joint venture between an Indian Bank and subsidiary of largest Dutch bank) where he provided investment strategy and thought leadership by being a management committee member. He was soon elevated to the role of Chief Investment Officer where he managed all onshore and offshore funds along with supporting the business development activities for key institutional clients. He started the first actively managed GOLD and Fixed income combination fund INDIGO which was soon replicated by other market players. In 2013 Ritesh transitioned to Tata Mutual Fund, acting as Chief Investment Officer. He was responsible for managing domestic Assets Under Management of USD 6 billion and overseas Asset Under Management of USD 250 million, for both -Fixed Income and Equity. He was also directly involved with sales and marketing of products to potential HNI clients and distributors. As part of the Executive Management team, Ritesh was also instrumental in formulating and executing overall business strategies. In 2017 he joined BNP PARIBAS asset management (India) as their Chief Investment officer managing USD 1.4 billion in assets for onshore clients. Ritesh currently acts as an offshore investment Advisor for Credence Family office LLP (India). He has written numerous articles as well as being quoted in national and international publications.

KEN MACLEAN
Ken began working in the technology world with positions at IBM, Sun Microsystems and Digital. He participated in the tech build out of the dotcom and built and sold a successful technology company and has been an integral part of the leadership team, sales and marketing, financing and building organizations across multiple industries including real estate, retail, heavy industry and technology. Ken has extensive experience in strategy, finance, sales, planning and execution for early stage companies and turnarounds.
Ken is currently the President of ColMac Capital Inc. and with his partners has participated as an investor, owner, founder, executive, and board member of numerous corporate organizations from start-ups to established companies. Ken’s responsibilities in these various ventures included structuring investment capital, formulating business plans, sales and marketing strategies, locating and developing key operational and managerial talent, and in some cases, taking on an executive managerial role within the company and/or sitting as a Board Director.
Most recently starting in 2012, Ken has focused on an Edmonton based technology company – Serious Labs Inc. (www.seriouslabs.com). Within this company, Ken and his partners initially invested and then took executives roles to organize and procure material external financing, develop strategic plans, build access to global markets, develop new products and re-tool the existing management team. The result has been a competitive international company and a significant bump of economic value for employees and investors. More specifically, Serious Labs is a virtual reality business focused on providing comprehensive, innovative and non-traditional technology based industrial training and competency solutions for customers primarily involved in construction, engineering and architecture. Serious Labs has grown to employ 70 people headquartered in Edmonton with offices in Calgary and London (UK).
Ken is also a partner within WestBlock Inc, a hosting infrastructure business with customers from Blockchain, rendering, artificial intelligence and machine learning industries.
Ken understands the value of timely and unfettered capital to make a difference. Ken also understands the great complexity of scaling technology-based companies, the complications of commercialization and its intersection with research, the ever-increasing importance of individuals and team in the execution of business in the digital world, and the fit of strategy and tactics.

ROBERT REDDEKOPP
Robert began his career as an Account Coordinator for MacLaren McCann in 1996, working on the General Motors Account. In 1997, Robert joined Hendrick & Associates as an Account Manager and later, Account Director, representing such clients as Tim Hortons, Acura, CN Rail, Macleod Dixon and Canadian North Airlines. Parlaying that experience, Robert was recruited by MNP LLP in 2005 to assist in developing and evolving the firm’s brand throughout Canada. As Senior Director of Creative Services, Robert successfully built a full service, multi-award winning in-house creative department that included design, writing, video production, digital and proposal development. In 2018, Robert joined INNOVA to focus his efforts on establishing an international brand and creating results–driven programs to further establish INNOVA and its Group of Companies as global leaders. As Director, Global Marketing and Communications, Robert was responsible for forging a collaborative culture that effectively positioned INNOVA’s diverse product lines and services.
To further assist industry contacts, Robert formed RReDD in 2006 and acted as a consultant to help independent businesses in developing effective brands, advertising and communication programs. Since establishing RReDD, Robert has worked with a diverse client base that includes Baker Hughes, CCS, SAIT, VEAP, DLC Strategic Solutions, Homes by Avi, Clear North Capital and Packers Plus to name a few.
A Singapore American School alum, Robert went on to major in Advertising / Business at St Clair in Windsor, Ontario. Since then he has further supplemented his education with the CAAP designation (Communications and Advertising Accredited Professional).

GERRY ROBITAILLE
With a career spanning more than 25 years, Gerry was a business owner in the 1990’s. After selling his company in 1995 Gerry began his Investment Banking career for Foundation Group Mergers and Associations Ltd. Focused primarily on the buy-side, Gerry led transactions valued up to $100 MM securing such notable acquisition clients as PCL and Finning (Canada). In 2002 Gerry was recruited by BW Technologies / Honeywell Life Safety where he served as Vice President, Corporate Development. In this position he was responsible for growing sales, driving innovation with product development and full P&L responsibilities for the newly formed fixed division. Gerry was responsible to coordinate the process for the sale of BW to a UK supplier for $260,000,000, and ultimately it all became part of Honeywell Life Safety. In 2006 Gerry transitioned to Executive Consulting with Private Equity where he filled a variety of roles that included sourcing transactions as well as proposing equity and debt structures to acquire control of small and mid-sized entities and turning around underperforming investments. Gerry then joined Graham Construction as Director, Infrastructure Financing in 2009 where he developed public infrastructure, oversaw equity investments and acted as operation period Project Director and Governance Board Chair for an infrastructure consortium. In his role Gerry led a consortium to successfully finance, design, construct and maintain public schools (value over 30-year contract of $253 MM), successfully negotiated with the Province of Alberta to allow the Graham led consortium to be sole bidder on $556 MM project to finance, design, construct and maintain 19 schools and was Graham’s lead in a team to construction and operate of the Regina Waste Water Treatment plant. In 2014, through Assurgo Enterprises, Gerry became CEO of Unified Valve Group where he assumed responsibilities for all aspects of the company’s operations and financing, selectively investing capital to improve efficiency and expansion while instituting innovations in offerings that further reduced reliance on financing through working capital reduction.
Graduating from the University of Alberta in Finance and Accounting, Gerry has since supplemented his education through various programs including International Business Brokers Association (Mergers &Acquisitions), Toronto Stock Exchange, Public Company Management and Rules, as well as The Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV – Business and Securities Valuation, Tax and Law).
